What you'll learn
Specialty Knowledge
✓Deep Diver Fundamentals: core knowledge for diving deeper, up to a maximum training depth of 30 metres/100 feet.
✓Navigation Diver Fundamentals: core knowledge of underwater navigation techniques and reference points.
✓Choice of Three More Specialties: get a basic introduction to three additional SDI specialties of your choice.
✓Credit Toward Future Certifications: dives completed in each chosen specialty may apply toward a full specialty certification later.
In-Water Skills
✓Deep Dive Practice: test and check equipment, descend to a planned depth, and execute a proper ascent to a safety stop.
✓Navigation Dive Practice: establish reference points, run out-and-back patterns, and perform squares and triangles on the surface and bottom.
✓Dive Planning & Logging: plan each dive, execute it within pre-set limits, and log the results.
