What you'll learn

Briefing & Confined Water Skills

✓Minimum age 10, no upper age limit; medical questionnaire required
✓Theory briefing: basics of diving physics/physiology, the underwater environment, communication, and equipment
✓Breathing underwater properly and BCD inflation/deflation
✓Mask clearing, regulator recovery, and ear equalization for pressure changes

Guided Experience

✓Direct supervision by a PADI Instructor (or Divemaster for pool-only sessions)
✓Confined water session in a pool or calm, shallow water up to 6 meters/20 feet
✓Optional open water dive afterward, 30-50 minutes, max depth 12 meters/40 feet
✓No certification earned — a taste of diving before committing to full certification
