What Is the Scuba Discovery Program?
This is a guided, hands-on introduction to scuba diving conducted entirely in a pool or controlled aquatic environment. Under the direct supervision of an active SDI Instructor, you'll experience what it feels like to breathe underwater, explore basic diving skills, and get a real preview of what the Open Water Diver course involves.
It's not a certification — it's an experience. And for most people, it becomes the moment they decide they want to dive for life.

Do I need any experience or fitness level?
No prior experience is needed at all. You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim, but this program is designed for complete beginners in a safe, controlled pool environment.
Is this a certification?
No — the Scuba Discovery Program is an introductory experience, not a certification course. If you want to become a certified diver, the next step is the SDI Open Water Diver course. We can help you enroll same day if you're ready.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself and a swimsuit. All scuba equipment is provided — mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tanks, and everything else you need.
Is there an age requirement?
Participants must be at least 10 years old. There is no upper age limit — diving is for everyone.
Can I do this as a group or gift?

Where does it take place?
