What you'll learn

Knowledge Development

✓Why altitude diving requires different planning than sea-level diving
✓Dive tables as they relate to altitude diving, including DCIEM and Bühlmann tables
✓Cross corrections to United States Navy (USN) tables
✓Dive computer capability and usage at altitude
✓Calculations based on cross corrections to USN tables
✓Ascent rates and safety stops adjusted for altitude

Practical Training

✓Planning and executing a dive at elevation using altitude-adjusted tables or a computer set for altitude
✓Proper weighting and buoyancy control in freshwater at altitude
✓Monitoring depth, time, and ascent rate throughout the dive
✓Logging an altitude dive correctly for future reference
