Visual Inspection (VIP) — Scuba Cylinder

A visual inspection is the annual check every scuba cylinder needs to stay fillable. The valve comes out, the tank is inspected inside and out for corrosion, pitting and cracks, the O-ring is replaced, and a dated VIP sticker goes on when it passes. Most shops will not fill a tank whose sticker has expired.

Pay here and bring the tank in — this is work we do in-house, so there is nothing to ship. We log the date against your gear and remind you before it lapses.
